Installation Guide

Step 1:
For installation, park both vehicles on a flat surface before towing. Secure tow bar coupler on 2" ball hitch of tow vehicle (V-1.)

Step 2:
Pull vehicle to be towed (V-2) within 4 feet of (V-1). Place the emergency brake of (V-2) into the on position.

Step 3:
Attach T-J hook combo into shipping slots. T-hook portion placed in slot, usually works best.
Step 4:
Thread tie down traps, Velcro end first into the hand ratchets. After tie down straps are connected to shipping slots, release emergency brake on (V-2).
Step 5:
Lift tow bar while tightening the hand ratchets. (V-2) will pull up against bumper stops. Tighten tie down trap. Do not over tighten.
Step 6:
Secure excess strap to tow bar by wrapping Velcro around tow bar and strap. Repeat process on other side.
Step 7:
Tie down straps should be secure so that there is no loose or excess strap.
Step 8:
Cables should always connect vehicle to vehicle. Route cables through upper ring handles. Criss-cross cables and secure cables to tow hitch of (V-1).
Step 9:
Route other end of the cable through the lower ring handles and attach to (V-2). Use cable extensions to ensure proper connection. Repeat process on other side.
Step 10:
Turn ignition key to unlock steering wheel. Release emergency brake. Re-tighten tie down straps if neccssaiy. You are now ready to tow.
